Astronomical instrument used to measure the height of a star on the horizon and to know in every moment of the day and throughout the year what you are seeing in the sky. For many centuries it was used in navigation. Diameter 16.5 cm - 6.49 inches, height 1.5 cm - 0.59 inches. Very good condition.

The astrolabe is an ancient astronomical instrument used to locate and calculate the position of the sun, moon, planets and stars, and for many centuries, until the invention of the sextant, it was the main instrument used in navigation.
