1722615436Code 648a BarometerTorricellian mercury barometer signed Heineman Strada Toledo 213 Naples for the Italian market, in mahogany wood from the mid-19th century. complete with reading vernier for checking the pressure variation, mercury thermometer, hygrometer and level for the correct positioning of the instrument on the wall. Measurements 25.5x5x97 – 9.8x2x38.2 inches Silvered brass dial engraved with weather indications in Italian and double hand, the first directly connected to the barometric tube indicates the trend of atmospheric pressure, the second, operated directly via an adjustment screw acts as a reading vernier for verifying the variation of atmospheric pressure over time. Good condition, perfectly working. For safety during transport the barometer will be shipped emptied of mercury. The mercury will be placed in a sealed container in the package together with the barometer.

Do you provide an authenticity certificate/expertise?
Of course! The legislative decree n. 42/2004 stipulates that who sells works of art or historical and archaeological items has the obligation to deliver to the purchaser the documents attesting to the authenticity of the object, or at least to submit the documents relating to the probable attribution and origin. Antik Arte & Scienza provides an expertise (as warranty) that contains a description, period and assignment or the author, if known, of the item.

Shipping by DHL or UPS is free (but if we are shipping to a country non-EU remember that any taxes and customs duties are on your expense), and items will be sent just after receiving of payment.
