Turned wooden base complete with engraved meridian circle. Good condition, excellent readability. Height 19 cm – 7.5 inch, sphere diameter 10 cm – 3.9 inch.

Founded in 1909 in Berlin by Paul Oestergaard, grandson of Peter J. Oestergaard who later produced globes, Columbus is the oldest globe manufacturer, still working today, in the world.
