1571753980Code 6275 Boatswain whistleBoatswain whistle, chromed brass, of the early 1900s, British manufacture, complete with chain. Very good condition. Length 11.5 cm, width 2 cm, height 2.5 cm.
This type of whistle consists of a small tube, called a cannon, a ring, called shackle, attached to the end of the handle, called keel, and a perforated ball, called buoy, from which the sound comes out. You hace to held it between thumb and forefinger; with the other fingers you can regulate the intensity and modulation of the sound.
