Mounted on hardboard and glass support with hooks. Good condition, some stains. Measurements 60x2x29 cm – 23.6x0.7x11.4 inches

This seaplane flew for the first time in 1917 and was built by engineers Carlo Felice Buzio and Luigi Calzavara. Towards the end of the First World War these seaplanes were also used by the US Navy. When the Royal Navy was established in 1923, 65 M5 seaplanes were still in service, then they were scrapped in the following years. Wingspan 11.90 metres, length 8 metres, 160 hp Isotta Fraschini engine, maximum speed 189 kmh with an autonomy of 3 hours and 40 minutes. Drawn by Giorgio Bigozzi and colored by Massimo Jacoponi, both students of the art high school in Rome after the war.
