1455625248Code 5046 Brass modelElegant model of a schooner made of wood with brass trim sails and perforated brass finishings placed at the sides of the hull; it is a three-masted sailing ship with the mainmast placed on the aft and bigger than the foremast placed on the bow. Made in the USA in the fifties. Very good condition. Length 60 cm - 23.6 inches, height 45 cm - 17.71 inches, hull depth cm 10 - inches 3.93.
The schooner was a sailing vessel with two masts, agile and fast, which was used for secondary military tasks, exploration and transportation in the Mediterranean area, but many of them ventured into the Atlantic Ocean, thanks to their excellent seaworthiness. Probably this type of boat was born in North America at the time of English colonization, about in the first half of 1700, and requiring an equipment numerically small compared to other boats, it had an immediate commercial diffusion.

Do you provide an authenticity certificate/expertise?
