1696064689Code 7707 Nautical DioramaNautical diorama depicting the half-hull sailing under full sail of the Trapani sailing ship Rosalia Siele launched in 1908 and housed in its original trapezoidal-shaped wood and glass display case with opening door. Good condition, original patina. The model portrays a sailing ship with three masts and a third mizzen mast astern, while on the right of the display case there is a small wooden church with a lighthouse on the left, this is the seventeenth-century church of San Liberale located right on the sea at the far end north west of Trapani as evidence of the important connection between the people of Trapani and the sea. Good Condition. Base measurements cm. 103- inch 40.5 - roof cm. 65 inch 25.6 - height cm. 53.5 – inch 21.1 and depth cm. 11.5 – inch 4.5.

1730732374Code 7931Scale model of the Regia Nave Scirocco, chromed copper casting model from the 1950s mounted on a wooden base. The Scirocco ship launched in Riva Trigoso in 1934 was a destroyer of the Royal Navy. Between 1937 and 1938 he took part in military operations during the Spanish Civil War, escorting merchant ships transporting Italian volunteers to Spain. In 1940, with Italy’s entry into the war, the Scirocco took part in both offensive and escort missions to convoys to and from North Africa. Measurements 20.5x3.2x4.8 cm – 8.1x1.3x1.9 inches

1761663624Code 8288 Sciarelli CutterScale model of the gaff cutter San Nicolò by Carlo Sciarelli, built in the 1980s. Hull planking and cotton sails. Good condition. Dimensions: 46 × 9.5 × 45 cm – 18 × 3.8 × 17.8 inches. Designed by engineer Carlo Sciarelli and built at the Frausin shipyard in Trieste, it was commissioned by Giulio Ciani Bassetti and launched in 1983. The project, identified by the number 90, was for a 7-meter vessel conceived as a study vessel and, in the list of Sciarelli’s projects, is one of the few marked with two asterisks, a sign of particular value.

The Tiziana IV is a 13.64-meter-long wooden sloop, designed by Carlo Sciarelli and built at the Cantiere Alto Adriatico in Monfalcone, launched in 2000. The project, identified with number 137 in Sciarelli’s official list, was built for Leontino Battistin, already the owner of the Tiziana III. Tiziana IV represents its evolution: a coupé version, slightly lower, lighter, and with a wider sail plan, designed to improve performance while maintaining the spirit of the previous model.
